Coming from Colbert Bus and Train Station to Doras Luimni. (20 minute walk/ 1.5 km.)
Go left coming out of the station toward Hyde Road onto Boherbuoy. Turn right at Davis Street and then left at Pery Street. Turn right at Lower Mallow Street. Turn left at O'Connell Street. Head southwest on O'Connell Street toward Lower Hartstonge Street. Continue on The Crescent with a slight left to stay on The Crescent, continue on Quinlan Street, and continue on O'Connell Avenue. On the right side of the road where the terrace houses come to an end there is a large complex called Mount St Vincent (locally known as The Mount). Entrance is through large double gates that are always open. There is a sign for Doras Luimni on the pillar. Turn right into these gates and follow the path to the left. There is a sign post for Doras Luimni. Keeping right, the entrance to Doras Luimni is a large double green door.

There is a taxi rank in front of Colbert Station.

Coming from Arthur’s Quay to Doras Luimni (25 minute walk/ 2 km.)
Go south from Arthur’s Quay to Honan’s Quay. Turn left toward Patrick Street. Turn right at Patrick Street. Continue on O’Connell Street. Continue on The Crescent with a slight left to stay on The Crescent, continue on Quinlan Street, and continue on O'Connell Avenue. On the right side of the road where the terrace houses come to an end there is a large complex called Mount St Vincent (locally known as The Mount). Entrance is through large double gates that are always open. There is a sign for Doras Luimni on the pillar. Turn right into these gates and follow the path to the left. There is a sign post for Doras Luimni. Keeping right, the entrance to Doras Luimni is a large double green door.

Buses from Limerick City to Doras Luimni.
304 (Raheen Industrial Estate) and 312 (Ballycummin). Buses depart from the bus stop outside Brown Thomas on O’Connell Street. Bus fare cost €1.60 each way.

Ask the driver to let you off at the second stop on The Crescent just before Punches Cross. Doras Luimi is across the road from the bus stop.


Driving to Doras Luimni from the Dublin Road
From the N7 Limerick by-pass take the N20 (signposted Cork, Killarney). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N20 (signposted Limerick). Continue forward following the N20 entering Limerick. At traffic signals turn left onto Childers Road - N20 (signposted Dooradoyle R526). At traffic signals turn right onto Rosbrien Road - N20 (signposted City Centre). At traffic signals turn right onto O'Connell Avenue - N20 (signposted City Centre). On the left there is a high wall. Driving to Doras Luimni from the Cork Road
The N20 brings you to Limerick. Continue forward following the N20 entering Limerick. At traffic signals turn left onto Childers Road - N20 (signposted Dooradoyle R526). At traffic signals turn right onto Rosbrien Road - N20 (signposted City Centre). At traffic signals turn right onto O'Connell Avenue - N20 (signposted City Centre). On the left there is a high wall.
